My Crystal had gone missing. she went for a wander and eneded up Under he floor of the house. We have pulled up boards and made holes and searched for her even leaving down food but to no avail.
she has been missing now for a few days. She wandered nito kitchen and found a small hole behind hte washing machine and managed to get down it. My fault as when she was under the machine instead of just leaving her i got a broom handle and tried to coax her out -WRONG thing to do as it scared her and she saw a hole and that was it. I cried for 2 days. whats made it worse was it was last weekwhen the weather here was below zero - so under the floor must have been even colder. Im jsut hopeing and pryin that she will turn up soon. Ive looked in my photos but cannot see a good photo of her to show you. She is our Green blotch Snow corn who is about 3 yrs old and about 3-4 ft long.
My aunty's corn went missing once and it turned up in next doors house. It went under the floorboards and went through to the next house So it may be a good idea to tell your neighbor to keep a eye out. I hop you find her soon.

Thanks Darren. well according to hubby she cant get next door as the wall goes down under the floor but yes your right we should tell the old boy - hes 80 bless.
Yes i hope she comes back soon - im more devastated than George is
yes i even contemplated a live fluff but was scared in case being so cold under the floor that it died within a few mins and would be no different to a defrost mouse. Cant put a live mouse as its cruel coz it would just run around and die - i could then end up with a dead mouse somewhere under the floor and still no Crystal.
I have now put a flour trail down in certain places so at least if she does move in the direct of where we can get to we will see her marks.
thanks i have found a trap will have to adapt it but, might be worth a try
