Boy, 7, Feeds Zoo Animals To Croc

What is you opinion on this?

Boy, 7, Feeds Zoo Animals To Croc

A boy of seven has broken into a zoo in the Australian Outback, fed a string of animals to the resident crocodile and bashed several lizards to death with a rock.

The boy scaled a security fence and went on a 30-minute spree, even killing the zoo's beloved, 20-year-old goanna lizard , which he then fed to "Terry," an 11-foot sal****er crocodile.Rex Neindorf, director of the Alice Springs Reptile Centre in central Australia, said the boy also threw several live animals to Terry over the two fences surrounding the crocodile's enclosure. At one point he climbed over the outer fence to get closer to the giant reptile. In CCTV pictures, the boy's face remains largely blank, Mr Neindorf said. "It was like he was playing a game."He killed 13 animals worth more than £3,000, including a turtle, bearded dragons and thorny devil lizards. Although none were rare, some would be difficult to replace."We're horrified that anyone can do this, and saddened by the age of the child," said Mr Neindorf.Police said they had identified the boy, who lives locally, but were unable to press charges because of his age. Children under 10 are not criminally liable under the law in the Northern Territory."By all accounts, he's quite a nasty seven-year-old," said Mr Neindorf, who plans to sue the boy's parents. "If we can't put the blame onto the child, then someone has to accept the responsibility."The zoo's security system, which relies on sensors, probably did not detect the boy because he is so small, he added.http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/Boy-Aged-Seven-Feeds-Live-Animals-To-Crocodile-At-Australian-Zoo/Article/200810115112700?lpos=World_News_News_Your_Way_Region_0&lid=NewsYourWay_ARTICLE_15112700_Boy_Aged_Seven_Feeds_Live_Animals_To_Crocodile_At_Australian_Zoo

Yes saw this some time ago- sorry but boy should be punished! And so should his parents for that matter. At that age they shoudl have know where he was and what he was upto.

The Zoo tried to cover all angles to stop a) people getting hurt, b) stop animals getting hurt, getting out ect yet this kid chose to scale a wall. He should also be banned from ever keeping animals if this is what he can do and find it funny.

Cant put my true comments on here otherwise it would be full of these "**********%%%%%$@@***" symbols

Yeah if the kid gets away with it, it opens doors to what he feels is acceptable for the future.
I will also censor my comments for the same reason you mentioned L.L.

yes exactly! I blame the parents and the childs upbringing either the chld just has no respect for anyone or anything or its just so spoilt it thinks it was acceptable. Wonder how that bratt would have coped if the shoe was on theother foot as they say and a croc managed to hurl him into his tank ....................mmmmmmmmm parents would be outraged then!! But it would have served him right!

Things like this really anger me
